Straightforward Consultancy is a young, dynamic UK logistics consultancy with a real understanding of the challenges faced by small to medium sized importers and exporters. Using our in-depth knowledge of the logistics marketplace, we work in a totally independent way to help our customers gain a competitive edge – and to maintain it!

In our current benign economic environment, many companies are under sustained margin pressure, and in a flat economy, they need to be as competitive as possible when sourcing from overseas or selling to international clients. They also need to have real confidence in the reliability of their logistics model so they can perform for their own customers.

The irony here is that many companies are either short on resources or don't have the expertise in house and so they carry on with their existing model, often overpaying on freight or duty costs and often not realising that a more competitive, customer focused service is also possible. This is what we've found on every customer we've worked with since we launched in 2009.

We are on a mission to help and support the small-medium sized importer and exporter, typically those with freight spends of £ 50K to £ 500K per annum. We reduce costs, improve transit times and communication and manage their logistics models for therm, ensuring their interests are always protected. We live and breathe the complexities of the ever changing logistics market, and  use that knowledge to guide, advise and support our customers.

Since we launched Straightforward Consultancy in 2009, we’ve achieved some great results for our clients, not just average financial savings of 35%, but more importantly, we’ve transformed the service they receive and the fact that all our original customers are still on board in 2013 is surely a testament to the on-going value we bring to their businesses.
